Abstract

Innovations are an invaluable factor in raising the competitiveness of national economies. At the modern stage of economic development, they play a decisive role as a key to optimizing economic processes. The purpose of the article is to study the major obstacles that decrease the efficiency of innovation policy on the example of the Republic of Armenia by proposing solutions in accordance with the perspective of the economic development of the country
