The article focuses on the analysis of the terms “social inclusion” and “social integration” in the context of social work. By comparing the different definitions in various sources, the author makes the conclusion, that social inclusion is the first step in the process of social integration, the realization of which leads to favorable preferences for the socialized part of the socially isolated and excluded people
