Abstract

Тhe paper reveals the relationship between sincerity and the speech acts used by the politicians. Sincerity in political discourse is one of the conditions for the successful communication, it is one of the most significant ways of increasing the impact on the audience. Breach of sincerity can destroy the reputation of a politician.
