Abstract

The present paper is devoted to the study of somatic phraseological units which express the emotion of anger in Italian and Armenian. Phraseological units with the names of bodyparts constitute a considerable amount in phraseological funds of both languages. The contrastive study of somatic phraseological units is based on metaphoric image underlying the phraseological unit. As a result, some linguocultural similarities and differences have been revealed.
