Disagreement is viewed as one of the driving forces of debate communication, by which the interlocutors, while revealing the truth, try to express their opposite standpoints as convincingly as possible, using such means as lexical units, syntactic structure, stylistic devices, and so on. In the process of expressing disagreement various pragmatic means, such as the use of rules of linguistic politeness and arguments, dialogism, as well as linguistic manifestations of emotions play a special role.
