The paper reverberates to Friedrich Nietzsche’s impact on modern literature. The purpose of this paper is to show the influence of the Superman’s concept in Jack London’s novel “The Sea-Wolfˮ. In this psychological, adventurous novel the author reveals Nietzsche’s individual philosophy. In the novel “The Sea-Wolfˮ Superman succumbs but Nietzsche’s Superman never does.
